29th “Vereya” Karate Cup
It is the 29th time that Stara Zagora hosts the traditional kyokushin karate tournament “Vereya” Cu. The oldest Bulgarian karate tournament is kindly hosted by the Municipality of Stara Zagora, the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation and “Aksen” sorts club.
The event is part of the campaign “”Stara Zagora – European Sports City 2017” and will take place on April 23rd. The official opening of the tournament is set for 12:00 hours. One day before the “Vereya” cup again from 12:00 hours, the National Championship for Children (Kumite and Kata) is to take place.
The count of participants is almost 300. The contest will be held at the municipal sports arena “Ivan Vazov” in Stara Zagora and the entry is free.
