BKKF and KWU are the patrons of the two largest karate kyokushin forums yet seen in December in the city of Varna

The wo largest and grandest events for the world of karate kyokushin will occur for the first time in Bulgaria in the month of December. The Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation and the Kyokushin World Union (KWU) are hosting the Second European Championship of Karate Kyokushin for men women and veterans, as well as the 6^th Open World championship for juniors. The fights will go in parallel between the 7^th and 9^th of December at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna and the attendance will be free of charge.

It is expected over 1000 karateka from more than 24 states to come in to our sea capital and pour their best effort into every match. During day one – that is December 7^th, the juniors will be competing for European medals. The action kicks off at 9 o’clock in the morning as the finalists will be named within the same day.

A special programme and impressive demonstrations are awaiting the spectators on December 8^th, when except for the finals and the honouring of the newly crowned European karate kyokushin champions, the 6^th Open World Championship of men women and veterans will get started. The official opening ceremony will start at 16:30 hours and the start of the competition in the last day of the grand kyokushin weekend – December 9^th will be set at 10 o’clock. He who wins that day will be the new karate kyokushin champion.
