Shihan Asen Asenov was honored with six Dan in karate kyokushin

In December 2018, seehan Asen Asenov was honored with sixth Dan during the Sixth Open World Championship in Varna. He is the first gold medalist from the European karate kyokushin championship in Bulgaria. One of the few students of the martial arts creator Sosay Oyama – Kancho Royama, awarded the Bulgarian pioneer with honor

Sheehan Asenov is training karate kyokushin from 25.09.1978. Previously, he was training freestyle fighting, kickbox, and judo. In 1994 he became european kickbox champion in Lisbon in category till 90 kilograms.

These days, Asenov is a member of the management board of the Bulgarian Kyokushin Federation and also a trainer of European and World champions like Stiliyan Petrov, Petar Martinov, Dnaiala Cherneva, Daniela Dineva, and Aneliya Asenova.
