The nationals had a successful wheight-in in Kazakhstan

Today, the day started with a successful weight-in for the nationals of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation before their participation in KWU World Championship for men and women. The championship of the Planet will be held in “Jekpe-Jek” in Nur- Sultan on 7th and 8th and the organizers are KWU.

All the 12 Bulgarian fighters did well on the weight-in this morning and are waiting for today’s draw ( around 17-18 Bulgarian time).

The organizers gave an official press conference. The participants were Serik Sapiyev Jumangalevich – Chairman of the Committee on Physical Education and Sport at the Ministry of Sport of Kazakhstan, the president of the Kazakhstan Kyokushinka Federation Omarkhan Oksikbayev, Kancho Hatsuo Royama – Chairman of the International Kyokushin-Karate Karate Organization and Co-Chairman of the World Kyokushin Union (KWU), Shihan David Pithol – IFK Vice President and Shihan Alexander Pichkun – Secretary-General of KWU.

During the briefing, the special medals for the winners were introduced for the World Championship in Nur-Sultan. The awards were made in the factory, which is going to make the medals for the upcoming Summer Olympian games in Tokyo next year.
