Martial arts teach many virtues. This was proved by the little karate fighters from the Varna Kyokushin Club “Nihontno”. The kids and their coach Sensei Zahari Damyanov joined the charity cause “I Believe and Help”.
The campaign is to collect plastic caps and hand them over for recycling. The funds received will be used to purchase medical equipment for the neonatology departments at the Specialized Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology for Active Treatment Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov – Varna and the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment “St. Anna-Varna”.
The children from “Nihonto” collected and handed over 86 kilograms!
Sensei Zahari Damyanov (4th DAY), who is an absolute world champion in Kyokushin karate, four times European and four times winner in the “All American open champion”, went personally with the group of children to bring the bags with caps in front of the Cathedral in Varna.
This is not the first time the club has joined the initiative, and this year the number of plastics collected for recycling will exceed 15 tons.
