On March 23, in the town of Asenovgrad, was held the National Karate Kyokushin Championship. The event gathered young talents and experienced competitors from all over the country, who competed in different categories – from juniors boys and girls, to men and women.
Organized by Okami Dojo and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation, the championship showed a high level of training and professionalism. A total of 133 competitors from 28 clubs of BKKF took part in the competition, creating a remarkable atmosphere of competition and friendship.
The National Championship for juniors, men and women in Asenovgrad was not just a competition, but a real event that united karate lovers and proved that will and perseverance can overcome any challenge.
The special prizes for “The most technical competitor” in men deserved Atanas Georgiev from “Kyokushin” Shumen and Yoana Dafinkicheva from “Shogun” Sofia. The prizes for “Highest fighting spirit” went to Zhak Kirishev from “Ronin” Plovdiv and Raya Ivanova from “Sentoki” Burgas.
