Today native karate kyokushin nationals arrived with a flight from Doha led by senior trainer Zahari Damyanov.
Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation sends 8 fighters on Karate Grand Prix 2019, which was held in the capital of Japan – Tokio. Over 700 karateka from 14 countries participated in the prestigious competition.
Our participation In the big tournament again didn’t leave without a medal. The competitor of SC “Samurai” Kristiyan Stankov went home with bronze honor and was left third in the category up to 75kg. Georgi Ivanov from SC ”Armeec” and the present European champion up to 85 kg Kristian Doychev were the only ones on the tournament who have fallen into top 8 in their respective categories and weren’t from Japan.
