Our country came in second place at ranking by nation.
6 medals went to the representatives of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation during the world championship in Japan. These medals placed our country in the second place of the overall team ranking. Bulgaria is surpassed only by the host – Japan and the top 3 is complete with the Russian team.
The medal winners Stanislava Boycheva and Vasil Dimitrov brought their medals in the studio of the show “This Morning” and stated that we are well respected in Japan because we are one of the best in kyokushin karate and we have champions in each and every category.
