Four of our representatives reached the semi-finals at the World Championship for boys and girls, which is held at the Palace of Culture and sports in Varna.
In the 12/13 years old Ivon Teneva and Teodora Popova overcame their opponents and will compete for the championships tomorrow at the semi-finals and finals of the contest. From the adolescents, at the final battles, we will see Miglen Dimitrov (14/15 years old) and Vasil Dimitrov (16/17 years old).
In parallel to the semi-finals and finals of the World Championship for boys and girls, tomorrow we will see the first fights for men, women and veterans at the European Championship. The battles of December 8th will start at 9 o’clock and at 17:00 we expect to see the awarding ceremony for the newly crowned karate kyokushin champions.
The sixth Open World Championship for juniors and the second European Championship for men, women and veterans is organised by the Kyokushin World Union (KWU), and the host is the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF).
