One of the largest karate training camps will be hosted by Bulgaria

More than 1200 fighters will come to Kamchia.

Over 1200 karateka, instructors and referees in kyokushin karate from 25 countries will come to Kamchia on one of the largest training camps in kyokushin karate in the world. It will be held from the 2^nd to the 9^th of July in the naval town and is co-hosted by the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF) and the Kyokushin World Union (KWU).

The event will attract one of the biggest names in kyokushin karate in the world, as well as the heads of the most prestigious federations and unions of kyokushin karate in the world – International Kyokushin Federation (IFK), Kyokushin World Federation (KWF), Kyokushin World Union (KWU) and World Fighting Kyokushin Organisation (WFKO), Kyokushin-kan International Honbu.

This year’s camp will be graced again by the arrival of the kyokushin karate legend kancho Hatsuo Royama, head of Kyokushin-kan International Honbu (9^th dan). According to the officials the event will be attended by shihan Andrzej Drewniak (8^th dan), shihan Ramil Gabbasov (5^th dan) and shihan David Pithol (7^th dan). Some of the officials of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation at the camp will be: sensei Stoyan Dimov (4^th dan) – executive director of the federation, sensei Nikola Rachev (4^th dan) – national representative of the BKKF, shihan Asen Asenov (5^th dan) and sensei Tihomir Atanasov (4^th dan), all of which are members of the Administrative Council of the BKKF.

The international teams will start arriving on July 2^nd and on the very next day they will all start intensive training. The latter will be twice a day and will be set on three separate tatami, at the beach and even in the sea!
