Exciting and intense karate kyokushin matches will take over the Palace of Culture and Sport in Varna, where this weekend we will be able to see the Second European Championship in the martial art for women, men and veterans, as well as the Sixth Open Championship for juniors. Fights start on December 7th at 9 o’clock and will end on December 9th when we will have our new European and World Champions.
The entire championships will be streamed live, and in real time, on one of the most read bighting sports media – Boec.bg, so that the spectators and fans from across the country could enjoy the entertainment.
On December 7th, in the competition for world titles and medals, we will see the boys and girls. The matches will be played in parallel on the impressive 6 tatamis, and Boec.bg will be on each one of them for your viewing pleasure. In Saturday – December 8th, 9 o’clock you could see the semi-finals and finals for juniors and the winners will be announced at 18 hours.
Be there for the last day of the grand karate kyokushin weekend (Sunday, 9th of December) at the Palace of Culture and Sport in Varna, where in 10:00 hours you could see the semi-finals for men, women and veterans. The official ceremony for the opening of the European Championship in Karate Kyokushin is set for 13:30 and the new European champions will be named not later than 16:30, when the official ceremony starts.
In the meantime, part of the massive participant count – over 1000 karateka, coaches and referees from across the world, have already arrived in Bulgaria for the event. On the 6th of December, 11 o’clock, in the “Astor Garden” hotel, St. St. Konstantin and Elena, the media will receive a press conference with the leaders of the international karate kyokushin federations. The same morning will also feature the weigh-in for the contestants, and between 14:00 and 16:00 hours there will be a referee seminar with Shihan Ramil Gabbassov (Member of the Board of Directors of the KWU and Chairman of the Russian Martial Arts Union (RMAU)).
