The special prize “Honorable Karate Master”

On January 13th (Friday) at 18:30 the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation honored the sportsman with biggest merit to the development of Bulgarian kyokushin karate, as well as the ones with best achievements during the past 2016. The ceremony took place at “Azalea” hotel in resort “St. St. Konstantin and Elena” and the nominees came from all ages and different kyokushin karate clubs across the country.

The special prize “Honorable Karate Master” was handed to the absolute category champion Zahari Damyanov. The three “golden” girls of the BKKF – Monika Dimitrova, Valeria Lozanova and Lyubomira Nikolova who won the championships in the fifth open world championship of kyokushin karate in the beginning of December received prize “Karate Master”. The other laureates of the latter prize were: Nikolay Atanasov, Kristian Doychev, Yordan Yordanov and Plamen Dobrev. The candidate – masters were Nikola Kyuchukov, Zhasmina Yancheva, Mihail Parkov, Stoyan Ilchev, Dimitar Dimitrov, Svetoslav Stoykov and Maria Chepilova.

These master’s degrees are the recognition of the BKKF to its karateka who gave glory to our country with their numerous medals from various European, International and World Championships of kyokushin karate and thus are the propellers of the martial art in Bulgaria.
